Well if you managed to find this first test post in my blog then I should give you something to read I guess. Yeah I could delete this post but then it wouldn't be a developers blog without a "Hello World!".
I am a rather novice programmer (maybe leaning into competent) - I am comfortable with the C and ObjC syntax but don't have a lot of experience with using either. I know a little perl and shell scripting, with a little python starting to creep in these days thanks to blender. While I learned some C++ in it's early days I was never a fan and tend to keep away from it these days.
Having spent a few years working on custom Filemaker databases I am now getting back to real programming. Yes real programming - I never considered Filemaker scripting as programming even though it borders on the definition. For those that don't know Filemaker scripts are a series of steps some of which can have options adjusted. It has been a few years since I used filemaker now so there is a chance it has changed - hahaha. I started with about v4, mostly worked with v5.5 and v6 and used v7 a little when it came out. While v7 was a big change and showed some promise I had lost interest and wanted to move on to better options. PostgreSQL fulfils my personal database needs.
Well if you read all that and your still here then I think you need to get a life more than I do.
